Vision&Purpose
My Vision..
I created this website to journalize and share my “Life Saving” journey and testimony as I await a kidney transplant. I formatted this site in a blog format so everyone can participate. There is so much we can learn from each other! So your comments are greatly appreciated! I will continue to add links, news articles, monthly “What’s Up” Newsletters that have wide world news about organ donation (compliments from GSDS), transplant information, along with spiritual inspirations that I come across: uplifting messages of Hope, Spirituality, Strength, Courage, Pain, Hurt, and Love and how I continue to find the answers through the foundation of God itself the Bible. I have a goal to keep this website updated on a day by day, week by week, month by month basis, as much as the spirit allows. With my several years of research with cutting edge medicine, treatment options and last but not least other personal stories which taught me much more than any text book could ever offer. This is what gave me a deep desire to create a website for myself. Not only is knowledge, power. I can say for myself this has empowered me to take control of the disease and not let the disease take control of me! I will see how scriptures and all life events has tough me something everyday. Nothing to be ruled out not even the smallest of details. I am one of many that were able to open their eyes and accept the eternal. Once I was able to see this the external seemed all pretty worthless and the internal possibility of this life there after has became very real and very personal.
This course of life especially for those battling adversities has many twist and turns. But there is a way to win this battle and you will see how I use this armor & protection to fight with each day. I realized how I was not alone. The ability and opportunity to relate to someone in some way or form is one that can touch the soul, the heart, the mind and the spirit. I will share an account of my own personal experiences so I can reach out to others living with organ failure or going through any type of life changing experience or adversities. During my 3+ years receiving dialysis treatments and waiting for transplant, healing and God’s answers. I was determined to live life as usual even though there is nothing usual about my life. As I share my story you will see how there have been many important life lessons that I’ve learned through this journey of mine. I was sure that I knew what life was all about until I started to get stripped of many things, first health, than finances, than people… Name it like the book of Job (from the bible) my story can come close with experiencing the same tragedies and test maybe not as harsh. This only brought me to a place that I never knew even existed within my own life. It has shaped this story of mine and most of you have already been apart of the journey following this website the past couple years. I hope to bring inspiration and hope as I release the life God breaths through me each day. You will see how God has given me a gift of fighting with supernatural ability because I had to learn that my body could no longer carry the weight. I no longer had the resources and comforts that I once had… This is how my vision turns in to my purpose…

My Purpose…
The main purpose in creating this website to encourage others to speak out because we all have a story to share and there is always someone out there that needs to here it and can be impacted or encouraged. He creates all of us in a special and unique way. I have valued all that come in my life and those that remain regardless of their beliefs or background. I see us all being God’s beautiful creatures and there is no exceptions to anyone if I was to start judging, that would go against the very saving grace that saved me from the Bible. It clearly states God is the only one who can judge and I have been able to love others in this example. I leave all of that up to him. I know if God has taken me back unconditionally and accepted and loved me for who I am I owe anyone and everyone the same respect. So don’t think you can not participate in this website because our beliefs our different. I am here for one purpose to save lives! We are His masterpiece and trust me for what He is creating in me continues on. I know I will probably never be perfect but I will be content in living life for this purpose. I’m focused to work with my God given abilities and you will see as I put this into practice. I have been blessed to meet so many people that model this truth.
This also will be the future site where I will one day record the new kidneys I will receive. Yes brand new 100% functioning kidneys that will run through my system to bring complete harmony once again. This story does not only speak for me. It speaks for the person willing to give their kidney because they had a word in their heart to save a life and truly believed in God’s will in doing so, or for a soul to decide where there earthly living organs should go to next or for those who are willing to make the decision to let go of a loved one and release their living vital organs to save give countless many waiting to feel physically whole again. This life saving journey is to spread a message that can save many countless lives! You will see the physical is only half the journey the wholeness is the complete journey. I am only one of the millions waiting for an organ transplant each year. In reality it’s only a statistic medically but eternally I know I have God’s favor and because of this I have duty to step out in faith and to continue on in spreading this message. With every effort a life is being saved and the statistics change. Don’t be afraid to ask yourself how you can contribute because you can be used just like he is using me. The first step is getting informed. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask. If you have one that is directly to me please do know I am ready and willing to answer. Not only will I know for myself but now I’m getting the training and background to go straight to resource of this information.
This is my own personal journey, Please keep in mind that every experience may very from one person to another. Every healing, deliverance and process will be different depending on what God’s plan is for you. I’m sure no two are alike but it can come close enough! Just like how it it is being revealed to me on a daily base. We can only count on what the Lord gives us with each day. Last but not least, I am also building a non profit organization called Maribel’s Kidney Foundation which presently is established & licensed but we haven’t quite structured everything. This organization will help support my effort in spreading this life saving story. Maribel’s Kidney Story as I mentioned is not just my story it is a story that many has within themselves and needs to be nurtured and accounted for so it can grow to be glorified for God’s purpose. This foundation and funds raised will support these efforts. I am hoping to get this portion of web up and going so you will see it develop in the course of time. I am currently serving other non profit organizations such as Golden State Donors Services which offices are located within miles to me. Keep posted as I share the events, speaking engagements and highlights that I experience as I grow in this organization as well.
